Ice Fighter
November 6th, 2009 | by admin |Last night, the Coyotes attacked the Blackhawks faster than Chun Li’s Hundred Rending Kicks and never looked back.

Martin Hanzal attacked early like Blanka’s Rolling Attack with his third goal of the season.

Peter Mueller FINALLY got his first goal of the year and Ed Jovanovski kept his hot streak alive rendering an assist on Hanzal’s goal. Jovo’s been on fire this season (5 goals, 8 assists, 12 PIM) and should be seriously considered in all fantasy league formats. Even though he’s getting old, he’s proving that he still has the moves just like Zangief and his Kuuchuu Headbutt.

However, he did leave in the third with what is being considered a minor lower-body injury. I shall continue to monitor this faster than a Hadouken from Ryu. As of right now he is listed as “day-to-day”.
Bryzgalov won again after stopping 31 of 32 shots. Brizzy is now 9-4 on the season with a .931 save percentage and a 1.81 GAA. Although it pains me to say this, he’d be an ideal “Sell High” candidate.
Also, David Sclemko made the most of his promotion and netted an assist last night. Dave Tippett’s homeboy, Scottie Upshall, also scored a goal last night as the ‘Yotes snapped their losing streak. Once again, the ‘Yotes didn’t take that many shots on goal but their “pack mentality” prevailed.
This weekend, Phoenix will visit Disney’s team on Saturday. The Coyotes are 1-2 against the Ducks this season. Ironically, all three games haven’t been decided until shootout time. Saturday should be a better fight on the ice then a Ken-Guile throwdown.

Alright, I’m done with the metaphors. I’ll see y’all Sunday morn! I’m outta here quicker than Yoga Fire.
